Key species
Key species for the study in MTL-FISH (Table 1) were selected from previous studies of pelagic and demersal food webs in the region. Because of their small individual body size and the difficulties in obtaining enough biomass for CSIA or FA determinations, plankton size-fractions will be considered instead of individual species.
